    I assume your using the FORTRAN/C low level utilities. When you open a
    X workstation it is possible to set a window ID as the connection id
    parameter of GOPWK, or gopen_gks in C.

    Set WKTYPE to 7 and pass the X11 window ID to GOPWK.
     
    This allows you to attach your own event handlers to the window and thus
    support "interaction with the graphics window".
