        Glenn,

In our documentation of NCAR Graphics related tools at:

        http://ngwww.ucar.edu/info/ngtools.html

we describe two tools, imconv and xv, which allow you to
convert NCGMs to TIF and JPEG formats using either a command
        line or GUI based way.

We would like to be able to include more formats for direct
output in ctrans, but because free tools are available to
accomplish this it is not currently one of our highest priorities.

        Best regards,

        Bob-
