Solution to IMTOOL for Linux

    My thanks to the several people who replied to my previous posting,
    the consensus of which was that I should leave the old, now orphaned,
    IMTOOL routines behind and get a grip on the available Linux programs
    from ImageMagick, NETPBM, or GIMP. And I did find that the
    ImageMagick routine convert could do the cropping/converting that I
    needed.
