    Hi Kip,

    I increase my X window size by adding the following line
    to my .Xdefaults file:

    Xgks*geometry: 800x800+0+0

    The "+0+0" is not necessary; it just indicates where to put the upper
    left corner of the window. Change "800x800" to whatever pixel size
    you can fit in your screen, and it's best to keep it a square.
