    Greetings,

I apologize if this problem has been addressed in the past, but after two
days of searching the archive and trying a wide variety of fixes I have run
out of ideas on how to proceed. My problem is the following:

I am trying to get NCAR Graphics installed on a beowulf PC cluster that is
running Redhat linux 6.2. After consulting this archive, I learned of the
redhat6.2 pre-compiled binaries and have downloaded and installed them on
the system. The ncargex and ctrans installation tests work without a
problem (which was a substantial improvement over all of my previous
attempts to compile the binaries from the source code myself). However, I
am still unable to compile NCAR Graphics programs using ncargf77. I get an
    error message that looks like:

    /usr/pgi/linux86/lib/pgfmain.o: In function `main':
    /usr/pgi/linux86/lib/pgfmain.o(.text+0x8a): undefined reference to `MAIN_'
    plot.o: In function `MAIN__':

I assume that I am missing some library function or that the library I need
is located in a different place on my machine than it was on the machine
where these binaries were compiled. But I am not sure which library is
causing the problem nor how best to locate/acquire/point ncargf77 to that
    library.

Hints that anyone could offer that might help me along would be greatly
    appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help,
    --Jay
