I've installed the binary, ncarg-4.2.2.LINUX6.2_pgi_PC.tar.gz. The
installation went fine. When I ran the test for the installation I get
    the following:

    joe@jrpietro:~/Temp > ncargex cpex08

    NCAR Graphics Fortran Example <cpex08>

      Copying cpex08.f

      Copying cpexcc.f

    Compiling and linking...
    pgf77 -O -o cpex08 cpexcc.f cpex08.f -L/usr/local/ncarg/lib
    -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lncarg -lncarg_gks -lncarg_c -lX11
    cpexcc.f:
    cpex08.f:

    Executing <cpex08>...
    Illegal instruction

    Metafile file is named cpex08.ncgm.

It seems that the error is when ctrans -s X11 cpex08.ncgm is run. When I
run the ctrans command I get an Illegal instrustion. ctrans is in my
path and is in the NCAR_ROOT/bin directory.

    Any suggestions?

    Joe Pietrowicz
