[version 3.2, EZMAP] Polar stereographic sectors possible?

Does anyone know if it is possible to plot true sectors of a polar
stereographic projection. If so, can you please pass along the proper
args to the MAPPROJ and MAPSET calls?

For instance, the best I can come up with right now is:

call MAPSTI ('EL - elliptical boundary',0)
     call MAPROJ ('ST',0.,0.,0.)
     call MAPSET ('AN',90.,90.,90.,0.)

which plots a square box around a hemisphere. This leaves map edges in
the lower left/right corners with no data contours. (If I turn on
elliptical boundaries, I get what the doc says -- an ellipse within
the imaginary box -- not what I want either.)

The problem is worse if you choose different values for MAPSET, e.g.,

     call MAPSET ('AN',60.,60.,90.,0.)

gives me a square with larger blank areas in the upper left/right
(this is because the data is on a rectangular grid, which can only fill
up a true sector and not a box with uneven lat/long boundaries).

If this is not possible in 3.2, does anyone know if it works in 4.0?

Thanks,
