contour lines on ellipsoid

Hello NCAR Graphics list

I have used NCAR Graphics to draw contour lines (from function given
in spherical coor) on a spherical surface. Is NCAR Graphics capable
of doing the same for an ellipsoidal surface? If so could you please
tell me which routines to use.
