How to write a GUI

    Hello. I would like to build a Graphical User Interface (GUI)
    for interactively running some underlying C functions based on
    NCAR Graphics. I mean a GUI with buttons, menues, and other
    widgets. I still see an unanswered question raised some time
    ago by Ashok Kuppusamy (
    http://ngwww.ucar.edu/ncarg-talk/94-02/0030.html ). It seems
    that a former xproto (prototype GUI) tool is no longer
    available since release 4.1.x.

    Can anyone provide advise on the matter? Is Tcl/Tk the best
    choice in case?
