compile problems

i am trying to compile NCAR Graphics on my SUN server with Solaris8.
i am using GNU gcc as well.
however i couldn't done.
therefore i modifide the file named Sun4Solaris like
"#define ExtraSysLibraries -Bdynamic -lnsl -lintl -lsocket -ldl -lw -lfsu " but it didn't work.
this following script didn't work as well.
"#define ExtraSysLibraries -Bdynamic -lnsl -lintl -lsocket -ldl -lw -lF77 "
