Dear Guillaume and other NCAR Graphics users,
In most cases, the only NCAR Graphics environment variable you need to
set is NCARG_ROOT, and you want to set this to the *parent* directory
of where NCAR Graphics was installed. In Guillaume's case, it would
be set to "/usr/local/ncarg". For example, in csh:
setenv NCARG_ROOT /usr/local/ncarg
The only time you need to set any of the other NCAR Graphics
environment variables, like NCARG_LIB, is if your libraries are not
installed in $NCARG_ROOT/lib.
Cheers,
--Mary
