problem viewing gmeta using idt

Hi,

        I was trying to open a gmeta file using idt, but kept getting
the following error message:

"reading stdout of translator: Error 0, Translator aborted"

        I was wondering whether anyone knows what might cause this
problem and how to fix it. Greatly appreciate for any input, thanks a lot.
