Windows over NCAR Graphics (graphics disappear)

I've been using NCAR 4.00 and now I use NCAR 4.0.1 with an Indigo2 R4400, but I
think the 'problem' I'm going to describe appears on all plataforms:
Wheneve I put a window over the NCAR Graphics window, and later I apart this
window, the graphic on the NCAR disappears. I must refresh the window, with the
temporal cost of this operation.
My question is... Is there a quicker mode of refreshing the window? Is there
anyway to avoid this effect?
