Real-time plotting w/ NCAR?

Does NCAR have the capability to plot in real-time? For
example, I would like to plot a sine wave and change the
amplitude or period as the wave is plotted and have the plot
reflect this change without having to replot the entire graph.

I'm using ncar 3.2 on aix.
