NCARG on Power Macintosh

NCARG Community,

 I am purchasing a Power Mac 6100/66 and would like to use NCAR Graphics
 on this platform. I've checked with the folks at NCAR to see if they have
 any plans to port NCARG to the Mac. They don't have any plans at this time
 but mentioned that someone in the NCAR Graphics community(ncarg-talk) may
 have thought about or done this already. If so, I would really appreciate
 hearing from anyone who has any experience in this area.
