plotting USGS DLG files

To avoid reinventing the wheel, I'm looking for code that plots USGS
Digital Line Graphs (DLGs). Does anyone have something they would be
willing to share? Nothing fancy needed, just a way to plot the data to
make a line graphic topo map.

Any info or code is greatly appreciated.
