I would actually be interested in any answers to the question of Anne Marie Lanquette regarding
editing CGMS on Macs.

Specifically, I'd like to know the best translator "route" from an ncgm file to, e.g., a pict file.  My definition of
"best" is anything that will retain the "vector" information of the original file.  I've tried ncgm to xwd, and then
xwd to etc., but the loss of information and resolution was unacceptable.
